Malá Úpa Fairy-Tale Trail

Route description:

The individual stops are situated in the area of Malá Úpa and aim to acquaint both young and adult visitors to this picturesque mountain village with the work of that author and the beautiful places and unforgettable views, which children would hardly plough through without motivation. In the information centre in Pomezní Boudy you can for a small fee buy a brochure with a map and ten fields where you can draw relief ornaments. The ornaments can be found at every stop, and you are tasked to find every ornament and draw them in the brochure. After drawing all 10 ornaments correctly you will get a reward in the information centre – a Groschen of Malá Úpa. You needn’t go along the entire trail, you can choose a shorter option or divide the trip over several days. The nature trail has a paved surface, which you can comfortably also take with a pram. The fairy tales are translated into English, German and Polish.
