Along the Czech-Polish Friendship Route across the Giant Mountains

Route description:

The Czech-Polish Friendship Route is a ridge trail marked with red trail markers and connects the western and eastern parts of the Giant Mountains. During its course of 28 kilometres it crosses or follows the Czech-Polish border many times. As it passes the highest peaks of the Giant Mountains, tourists can enjoy views and interesting points to their heart’s content. The trail starts in the western part of the Giant Mountains at the crossing under Tvarožník (above Vosecká Hut). You can get there from Harrachov or Rokytnice nad Jizerou, which makes the walking distance about 8 km longer. You can join the trail from many parts of the Giant Mountains if you do not want to cover the whole of it.
