By Day 10, the team has found their rhythm of biking every day. In the morning, Tomaš heads back to Prague and Brian and Garrett knock out twenty kilometers to get to the town of Lechovice. The next leg of the journey, however, is a little less leisurely as strong winds slow down their pace.
On this ambitious route, there are no stopping points for cultural insights or relaxation. Instead, the guys stick to the roads over cycling paths to reach their destination. With the winds still raging, Brian spots a church atop Holy Hill that signifies they’re finally just outside the town of Mikulov.
An unexpected visitor from earlier in the trip surprises the guys by joining again in Mikulov, where the theme of the night becomes “wine time”. The team finds a local wine producer and samples plenty of Moravia’s favorite beverage.
This route is perfect for ambitious cyclists with a love of wine. Next up, the wine tour continues at the gorgeous Lednice-Valtice complex.
